March Networks have released their latest Firmware/Software for their 4000 Series range of NVR's.

It offers a host of new features and some improvements and bug fixes.

As per the March Networks End of Life (EOL) policy, the company committed to supporting and repairing the Gen1 units for a period of three years from its Gen1 EOL notification issued in December 2005.

While support for these units should have ended in December 2008, March Networks were able to continue repairing these units while replacement parts were available.

Unfortunately March Networks have reached a point where the replacement parts required for repair are becoming scarce. As a result, March Networks will no longer be able to repair the Gen1 4000 series platforms as of 31st January 2012.

As such no Return/Repairs or Advance Replacements can be offered on GEN 1 4000 series DVR's.

ASD have a very limited number of refurbished units we can use to replace any GEN 1 Units, please contact ASD for pricing and availabilty.

ASD are also running a special upgrade promotion so that you can upgrade any old GEN 1 units to a new GEN 4 R5 DVR, this deal ends on the 1st of April 2012, please contact ASD for pricing. All we require is the serial number and site location of the GEN 1 DVR.
